The petition has been filed seeking bail in connection with Crime No.356 of 2025 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 132, 329(4) and 1/4

351(2) of BNS, 2023.

The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner herein abused the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tiruvannamalai for having taken action against his wife, who was serving as a staff of the District Court and was placed under suspension by the Chief Judicial Magistrate. The alleged occurrence took place on 24.06.2025, when the petitioner and his wife barged into the chamber of the Chief Judicial Magistrate and abused as well as threatened him. 3.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police opposed the grant of bail to the petitioner and submitted that the investigation is still pending.

Considering the fact that the investigation is still pending, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed for the present.
