The enquiry notice dated 19.06.2017 is under challenge in the present writ petition.

2. The complaint was registered to cancel the settlement deed registered. The complaint was initially given pursuant to the Circular No.67 of 2011. The Government had already withdrawn the said circular and subsequently amendment in the Registration Act was made and accordingly, Section 77-A was inserted.

3. This being the factum, the relief as such sought for in the present writ petition lost its relevance. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed. 06.07.2023 Jeni Index : Yes Speaking order
