O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide compassionate appointment to petitioner's son for the death of petitioner's husband Janakiraman, who died on 17.08.2021 based on petitioner's representation dated 21.06.2023 and also to sanction and disburse the terminal benefits of petitioner's husband. 2/6
2. According to the petitioner, the petitioner married to one Mr.Janakiraman, son of Mr.Subramaniyan and through the wedlock they got two children namely, Sasidharan and Pavithra. The petitioner's husband was working as Handyman Work at the Airport, Chennai from the year 1996. The petitioner's husband died on 17.08.2021 during his work time due to heart attack, leaving behind his wife, two children and mother as legal representatives.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner's family is solely depending on the income of her husband. Since the petitioner's husband is the only bread winner of the family, after the death of petitioner's husband, they are finding very difficulty to maintain the day-to-day affairs. The respondents have not paid the terminal benefits of the petitioner's husband so far. Hence, the petitioner made an application dated 21.06.2023 before the third respondent seeking to appoint her son Sasidharan, who studied B.B.A, on compassionate ground along with all necessary documents 3/6
namely, Death Certificate, Legal Heirship Certificate, Integrated Certificate issued by the Tahsildar, Declaration Form, Ration Card, Educational Certificates and Transfer Certificate before the third respondent on 21.06.2023 but the respondents have not taken any action so far. Hence, the present writ petition has been presented in this Court on 09.10.2023.
4. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner's grievance would be redressed if a direction is given to the respondents to consider and pass appropriate orders on her application dated 21.06.2023.
5. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the records.

Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of, by directing the respondents to consider the application dated 21.06.2023 of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight 4/6
weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
