Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to pass appropriate orders on the proposal sent by the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.5889/2018/A4 and Na.Ka.3690/2020/A4 dated 13.07.2020 and 25.01.2021 respectively within the stipulated time fixed by this Court. For Respondents in both W.Ps. : Mr.U.Bharanidharan Additional Government Pleader C O M M O N O R D E R These Writ Petitions have been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to pass appropriate orders on the proposal sent by the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.5889/2018/A4 and Na.Ka.3690/2020/A4 dated 13.07.2020 and 25.01.2021 respectively within the stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2.The case of the petitioners is that the property comprised in S.No.333/3 measuring an extent of 3.16 acres, Navakuruchi Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District and the land in S.No.6/1 measuring an extent of 0.85.5 hector, Kallanatham Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District belongs to the petitioner and are carrying out agriculture in the said land. While that being so, the said lands have been inadvertently uploaded in the computerized 'A' Register as "Government Punjai" instead of "Royatt Punjai". In order to rectify the same, the petitioners made representation dated 05.06.2018 and 29.01.2020 respectively. Thereafter, the 2nd respondent sent a proposal to the 1st respondent vide his proceedings in Na.Ka.5889/2018/A4 and Page No.2 of 6

Na.Ka.3690/2020/A4 dated 13.07.2020 and 25.01.2021 respectively to rectify the same. However, till date, the same has not been considered by the 1st respondent. Hence, the present Writ Petition is filed. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the 1st respondent to consider the proposal sent by the 2nd respondent dated 13.07.2020 and 25.01.2021 respectively and pass appropriate orders within a particular time frame fixed by this Court. 4.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that if any direction is given by this Court, the same will be complied with.

5.In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case directs the 1st respondent to consider the proposal sent by the 2nd respondent dated 13.07.2020 and 25.01.2021 respectively, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
