The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to consider his representation dated 10.06.2024 seeking to cancel the patta No.1429 issued in the name of respondents 3 and 4 in respect of the land classified as "Odai Poramboke".

2. By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners as well as respondents 1 & 2, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the lands in survey nos.96/8 and 179/8, Theethandapattu village, Chengam Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District originally classified as 'Odai Poramboke'. The second respondent issued patta in respect of the above mentioned lands in favour of the respondents 3 and 4 and others. Therefore, the petitioner who is owing agricultural lands nearby submitted a representation dated 10.06.2024 before the first respondent seeking cancellation of patta issued in favour of the respondents 3 and 4 and others in respect of the Odai Poramboke and the same has not been considered till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Mr. P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes 2/4

notice for the respondents 1 & 2 would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on its own merits and appropriate orders will be passed.

In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.06.2024 and pass final orders, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the respondents 3 & 4 and any other interested parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
