By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's father died while working as Junior Assistant in the year 1999. Thereafter the petitioner made application for compassionate ground appointment on 12.05.2000 and till 2018 his name was not https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
forwarded. However on 16.07.2018, the District Collector approved the said application, wherein the petitioner's name was found in serial No.6 and it was directed to produce necessary documents and thereafter he forwarded the entire documents, but till date no order has been passed. Hence the petitioner has filed the present petition.
3.Heard both sides.
4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the second respondent to consider the proceedings dated 23.09.2019 and pass orders, within a stipulated time fixed by this Court. 5.Though the petitioner has sought for a larger relief, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the proceedings dated 23.09.2019 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law after giving opportunity to the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
