ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.877 of 2014 dated 31.07.2014.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in Crime No.877 of 2014 on 31.07.2014, no final report is filed till date.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of one month.

5. So far, charge sheet has not been filed and the inordinate delay would defeat the ends of justice. In view of the same, the respondent police

is directed to file a final report within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the de-facto complainant, without fail.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
