ORDER

The relief sought for in the writ petition is to direct the respondents to measure the land and mark the boundaries of the petitioners land situated at Nanjaiuthukuli A village, Modakurachi town, Erode District bearing Survey No.270/5,270/6, 270/8A based on the representation sent by the petitioner dated 27.5.2025

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that, in compliance with the directions of this Court dated 17.09.2025, the 4th respondent/Tahsildar engaged a surveyor to survey the subject land. After issuing notice to the petitioner and the adjacent landowners, the surveyor conducted the survey on 13.10.2025 in the presence of the 5th respondent and demarcated the lands. However, since the landowners of the western portion of the property were not present, that portion could not be surveyed.

3. In view of the aforesaid submissions made by the learned Government Advocate, the 4th respondent is directed to serve notice to the landowners of the western portion of the property, conduct the survey, and submit a report before this Court on or before 03.11.2025.

4. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. The Registry is directed to list the matter on 03.11.2025 under the caption "For reporting compliance."
