The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.59 of 2022, pending on the file of the respondent police.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that due to matrimonial dispute, a complaint was lodged against the husband / petitioner by the wife / second respondent. Now, both of them have compromised and living together in U.S.A. The said fact has been communicated to the Investigating Officer through e-mail, but till date they have not closed the FIR.

3. Now, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the said communication has been received by the Investigating Officer through e-mail and the appropriate action will be taken on the communication.

4. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of with a direction to take appropriate action within a period of 30 days from today.
