This matter is placed before this Court today on the basis of the letter dated 27.11.2025 received from the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Portonovo through the learned Principal District Judge, Cuddalore and also the letter of the learned Principal District Judge, Cuddalore dated 02.12.2025, seeking extension of time for disposal of the case in CC.No.5 of 2018, by a period of three months.

2. Considering the reasons stated in the letter, this Court is of the view that it is appropriate to accept the request made by the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Portonovo.
