Respondent(s) PRAYER:-Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd and 3rd to conduct a survey of petitioner land comprised in S.No. 3, Sub Division No. 4A2B situated at Tiruchitrambalam Village, Vanur Taluk, Villupuram district along with laying boundary stone and demarcating the boundaries with barbed wire with the assistance of the 6th respondent based on online application dated 2.08.2025 bearing Application No. 2025/ 0123/ 07/ 009481 within a stipulated time.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to direct the respondents 2 & 3 to survey the petitioner's land comprised in S.No. 3, Sub Division No. 4A2B situated at Tiruchitrambalam Village, Vanur Taluk, Villupuram district and demarcating the boundaries with barbed wire with the assistance of the 6th respondent based on the online Application No. 2025/ 0123/ 07/ 009481 dated 02.08.2025.

2.Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4 and Mr.L.Baskaran, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents 5 & 6. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner made an application through online on 02.08.2025 before the respondents 2 &3, to survey and demarcate the petitioner's land, the same has

not been considered by the respondents 2 & 3, so far. He would further submit that the petitioner is apprehending that his neighbors would obstruct the Officials while conducting survey and hence, he prayed to direct the respondents 2 & 3 to conduct survey and demarcate petitioner's land with the aid of the Police.

4.Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the application of the petitioner dated 02.08.2025 will be considered and disposed of within a period of four weeks. 5.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 5 & 6. 6.Considering the submission made by both the parties and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents 2 & 3 to consider the petitioner's

online application dated 02.08.2025 and complete the survey and fix the boundaries after issuing due notice to the concerned parties, including the neighbors of the petitioner. It is needless to state that, if there is any obstruction from the neighbors of the petitioner, the respondents 2 & 3 shall complete the process with the aid of the respondents 5 & 6. Such exercise shall be done by the respondents 2 & 3 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.With the above said direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
