The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 4(1) and 4(1A) of TamilNadu Prohibition Act in Crime No.692 of 2023, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. When the matter is taken up, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the petitioner herein had already been arrested and taken into custody on 15.10.2023. Hence he prays for dismissal of this petition.

3. Recording the submission of the Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this court is of the view that since the petitioner had already been arrested nothing survives in this petition.
