A. Nos.6631 & 6632 of 2019 and C.S. No.417 of 2017 P.B.BALAJI, J., Both the learned counsel for the plaintiff as well as defendant submit that the suit has to be transferred on the file of the City Civil Court in view of the pecuniary jurisdiction of the City Civil Court being enhanced. From the plaint, I find that the suit is for recovery of a sum of Rs.28,12,000/- together with interest on Rs.19,00,000/- at the rate of 18% per annum from the date of the plaint till realization. Hence, the suit is to be necessarily transferred to the City Civil Court.
2. The Registry is directed to transfer the suit papers to the file of the City Civil Court, Chennai and on re-numbering the same, the Registry of the City Civil Court shall issue notice to the parties/their counsel, intimating them about the suit being renumbered as well as the hearing date along with the Court to which the suit has been transferred.
