Heard Mr.K.Sudalaikannu, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, Mr.S.Ameedius, Learned Government Advocate for the First Respondent and Mr. M.Vijayan, Learned Counsel for the Second Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

This Writ Petition has been filed for directing the First Respondent to pass orders in industrial dispute covered under the conciliation failure report in Na. Ka. No. A/771/2016 dated 02.03.2017 within the time limit that may be fixed by the Court.

Learned Counsel for the Second Respondent, on instructions, states that the First Respondent by G.O. (D) No. 100, Labour and Employment (A1) Department dated 12.02.2018 has referred the dispute raised by the Petitioner for adjudication before the Labour Court, Chennai and its copy has been produced. In view of the subsequent events after the filing of the Writ Petition, nothing remains to be decided in the matter. 4.
