O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 21.09.2024.

2. According to the petitioner, the property situated in Town Survey No.18, Survey No.372/1B1C part, at Ward-B, Block-32, Perumal Koil Street, Madhavaram Village, originally belonged to one Vadivammal and her husband. After their death, the property devolved on their legal heirs namely Elumalai and Pattammal. The petitioner herein claiming himself as grand son of Pattammal through her son Munusamy.

3. It is the further case of the petitioner that the Thasildar, Madhavaram had issued patta in the name of Rosammal wife of Elumalai. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner submitted a representation on 21.09.2024 before the respondents seeking cancellation of the patta issued in 2/5

the name of Rosammal wife of Elumalai and also sought for appropriate action against the Thasildar and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the Thasildar regarding issuance of patta in the name of Rosammal, it is for the petitioner to file an appeal before the Appellate Authority namely Revenue Divisional Officer, Madhavaram. Instead of filing an appeal before the Appellate Authority, the petitioner submitted a representation before the respondents. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to issue any direction to the respondents. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file an appeal before the Appellate Authority in the manner known to law.

4. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
