Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, direction, call for the records of the 1st Respondent in its proceedings No.12/H5 PS/INS - 2017 dated 13.08.2017 and Quash the same and consequently direct the 1st Respondent to grant permission to the petitioner to celebrate the A/M. Annai Sri Renuka Desa Mari Amman Temple Festival with cultural program scheduled to be held on 22.08.2017 from 7.00 p.m to 10.00 p.m. or any other future date.

O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed to call for the records of the 1st Respondent in its proceedings No.12/H5 PS/INS - 2017 dated 13.08.2017 and Quash the same and consequently direct the 1st Respondent to grant permission to celebrate the temple festival.

2. It is seen that the petitioner has challenged the order passed by the first respondent dated 13.08.2017 thereby rejecting the request of the petitioner to celebrate the A/M. Annai Sri Renuka Desa Mari Amman Temple Festival with cultural program on 22.08.2017. Now the date on which the programme proposed to be conducted is over as such the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

3. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
