Respondents The suit has been filed to declare that the plaintiff is the sole and absolute copyright holder of the story and screenplay utilised in the filming of the cinematographic film titled 'Medical Miracle'. 2.The plaintiff has entered into agreements at Chennai with the respective defendants. According to the plaintiff, he had invested money with the defendants for the production of a feature film 'Medical Miracle'. However, according to the plaintiff, the defendants have utilised the funds of the plaintiff for production of the feature film. It is the claim of the plaintiff that he is the sole and absolute owner of the copyright in respect of the story and screenplay of the cinematographic film titled 'Medical Miracle'. ABDUL QUDDHOSE,J.

A.No.5296 of 2023 vga 3.Despite the agreements entered into with the plaintiff protecting the plaintiff's right over the cinematographic film titled 'Medical Miracle', it is the claim of the plaintiff that the defendants are attempting to claim an exclusive right over the said film.
4.In such circumstances, the suit has been filed. The first and fifth defendants are having their office outside the jurisdiction of this Court. The agreements were entered into only at Chennai. Since a major part of the cause of action arose within the jurisdiction of this Court, this Court is inclined to grant leave to sue as prayed for in A.No.5296 of 2023.
