This Criminal Original petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking for to quash the criminal proceedings in respect of petitioners/accused in Crime No.65 of 2017 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, Thiruchengodu Rural Police Station.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the case in Crime No.65 of 2017, after completion of investigation, has been closed as mistake of fact. Hence, nothing survives in this petition for further adjudication.

3. Recording the aforesaid submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) this Criminal Original Petition stands closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed if any.
