Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st to 3rd Respondents herein to provide adequate police protection for ingress and egress of vehicles, suppliers and dealers and workers from in and out of the factory premises, by ensuring that no striking workers assemble illegally inside the petitioner factory premises and in any form within the radius of 1000 meters from petitioner's factory premises namely India Yamaha Motor Private Limited, Plot No.VV-1, SIPCO Industrial Park, Vallam Vadagal Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kanchipuram Tamil Nadu - 602 105, pursuant to the complaints of the petitioner dated 08.11.2022. This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 1st to 3rd Respondents herein to provide adequate police protection for ingress and egress of vehicles, suppliers and dealers and workers from in and out of the factory premises, by ensuring that no striking workers assemble illegally inside the petitioner factory premises and in any form within the radius of 1000 meters from petitioner's factory premises namely India Yamaha Motor Private Limited, Plot No.VV-1, SIPCO Industrial Park, Vallam Vadagal Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kanchipuram Tamil Nadu - 602 105, pursuant to the complaints of the petitioner dated 08.11.2022.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in an earlier occasion, the petitioner herein had filed a Writ Petition in W.P.No.28224 of 2022 for the very same relief, when the 3rd respondent Sangam had called for a strike; however, the strike has been called off and normalcy is restored. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that the petitioner has given a representation, dated 08.11.2022 by seeking Police protection anticipating one more strike that might be called for.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that as 3/6
of now there is no commotion or fear in the petitioner premises. The petitioner company is being run smoothly without any problem. In case there is any such situation in future, then the respondent Police will consider it and do the needful in accordance with law.
4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 21.11.2022 vum Index:yes/No Speaking order / Non speaking order To 4/6
