This petition is filed to condone the delay of 72 days in filing the appeal.

Heard Mr.A.Ilaya Perumal, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.M.Geetha Thamaraiselvan, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents 1 and 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that, respondent 3 is only a formal party and therefore, the petitioner wants to give up respondent 3 both in this petition as well as in the main writ appeal.

The delay is 72 days. Having been satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the delay of 72 days in filing the appeal is condoned. Accordingly, the petition stands ordered.
