The petitioners/A1 & A2 who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 23.03.2023 for the offences registered under Sections 8(c) r/w Section 20(b)(ii)(C), 29(I) of NDPS Act, in Crime No.14 of 2023, seek bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners were found in illegal possession of 100 kgs of Ganja.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioners have been in judicial custody for a considerable period of time. 4.It is stated by the respondent that the petitioners were intercepted at Salem Railway Station with four travel bags and other bags full of ganja. It is also stated that the recovery had been effected. 5.The investigation is still in progress.

6.In view of that particular fact, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
