ORDER

The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to take appropriate legal action directing the second respondent to take action against the respondents 3 to 8 in pursuance of the representations of the petitioner, dated 06.08.2024 and 08.08.2024.

2. The petitioner stated that the agricultural land of an extent of 31-1/2 cent in Survey No.227/3A, Patta No.1409 belongs to him. Patta, Chitta and Adangal stand in his name. There is a civil dispute among the respondents 3 to 8, as a result of which, the respondents 3 to 8 interfered with the petitioner's possession and threatened him with dire consequences and they attempted to murder the petitioner with deadly weapons. They also used filthy language against his family ladies. The petitioner and his family members are under constant threats from the respondents 3 to 8 and they threatened that they would murder them. Hence, the petitioner gave a complaint to the second respondent on 06.08.2024, requesting to take action against the respondents 3 2 / 4

to 8. But the second respondent did not take any action and therefore, he sent a representation dated 06.08.2024 and also on 08.08.2024 to the first respondent by Registered Post. Though the said representations were acknowledged by them, no legal action has been taken so far till date. But the petitioner is under constant fear of death because of the threats made by the respondents 3 to 8 frequently. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to consider the petitioner's representations dated 06.08.2024 and 08.08.2024, on merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders, as expeditiously as possible.

5. With the above observations and direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
