This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner/accused to enlarge him on bail in the event of his arrest by the respondent police in Crime No.Not known on the file of the respondent police.

2. When the matter is taken up, it is informed by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) that, no first information report is registered, however, enquiry alone is pending against the petitioner.

3. With regard to the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), this Court is of the view that, respondent police may continue with the petitioner's enquiry. The petition seeking anticipatory bail would not arise.
