Ms.Aswini Devi, learned Standing Counsel accepts notice for the respondents and is armed with instructions to enable final disposal of this matter, even at the stage of admission.

2. The prayer is for mandamus directing the respondents to consider and dispose the appeal filed by the petitioner on 01.08.2022, which is pending, admittedly, and as per instructions of the learned Standing Counsel, on the file of R2, the Regional Deputy Commissioner, Greater Chennai Corporation. The petitioner has challenged therein four general revision notices, three dated 15.06.2022 and one dated 15.07.2022.

3. In light of the admission of learned standing counsel to the effect that the appeal is, indeed, pending, it would suffice to issue a direction to R2 to hear the petitioner, consider the submissions and pass orders on the appeal in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This Writ Petition is disposed as above. No costs. Connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
