This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to give police protection to the petitioner's life and property.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the owner of the property measuring an extent of 0.07.5 hectare situated in S.No.240/2K at Sri Kalikapuram Village, Pallipattu Taluk, Thiruvallur District; since the respondents 2 & 3 are interfering with the petitioner's peaceful possession, the petitioner has made a complaint before the first respondent police seeking police protection; since no action has been taken so far, the present petition has been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner a case was registered in C.S.R. No.962 of 2022 and the same was closed on 26.08.2022 as the matter is civil in nature. The learned Government Advocate further submitted that a civil suit is pending between the parties.
