ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking the direction to direct the respondents police 1 to 3 to provide police protection to the petitioner's life by considering the representation dated 07.10.2019, given by the petitioner. 2.
In spite of repeated adjournments, there was no representation for the petitioner. Heard Mr.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr. B.Deepak Narayanan, learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent.

Today when the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, on instruction would submit that, in respect of the prayer sought out by the petitioner in the present petition, no such representation dated 07.10.2019 has been received by the respondents police. The said submission is recorded.

In view of the above, in the absence of representation from the petitioner, this Court cannot direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide police protection to the petitioner. Therefore, for the reasons stated above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
