ORDER

This petition has been filed for seeking for a direction to the higher Police Official to monitor the investigation conducted by the 7th respondent police. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an advocate and he was represented by an accused person in a case. The police was trying to extract a confession as if the client of the petitioner is involved in the offence. Therefore, this petition has filed seeking for monitoring the investigation conducted by the 7th respondent.

2. In the facts circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the 6th respondent namely Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kancheepuram, to monitor the investigation conducted by the 7th respondent. The 7th respondent shall complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible and file a final report not later than three months from the date of receipt of copy of this Order.

3.Accordingly, this petition is disposed of.
