ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider Petitioners representations dated 30.05.2022 and 07.10.2022 and to issue patta to the petitioner land comprised in Natham Survey No. 507/ 10 ad-measuring to the extent of 3 cent situated in Kuzhippanthandalam Village, Thirukkazhukundram Taluk, Chengalpattu District.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Addl. Government Pleader for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that in the year 1967, the petitioner's grandfather was residing in Natham Survey No.507/10 admeasuring to extent of 8 cents, situated in Kuzhippanthandalam Village, Thirukkazhukundram Taluk, Chengalpattu District. In view of the long 2/6
possession and enjoyment, patta No.82 has been given in favour his grandfather for extent of 5 cents only. After demise of the petitioner's grandfather, the petitioner has made representations to the 3rd respondent on 30.05.2022 and 14.10.2022 to issue patta to the petitioner land comprised in Natham Survey No.507/10, measuring an extent of another 3 cents. However, till date, the respondents have not taken any steps and hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking an appropriate remedy.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the third respondent to consider the representations made by the petitioner dated 30.05.2022 and 07.10.2022 and pass appropriate order within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request made by the petitioner, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 30.05.2022 and 07.10.2022 and to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of twelve 3/6
weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
