Nandhakumar v. State Rep By
Crl.O.P.No.24101 of 2023 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J.
The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 13.07.2023 for the offences punishable under Section 7 r/w 8 of POCSO Act in Spl.S.C.No.133 of 2023 on the file of the Principal Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under POCSO Act, Coimbatore, seeks bail.
2.This is the second bail petition. It is stated that final report had been filed and taken cognizance in Spl.S.C.No.133 of 2023 on the file of the Principal Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under POCSO Act, Coimbatore.
3.Since the trial has to commence, let me not enter into a detailed discussion of the facts, but after the defacto complainant is examined and cross-examined, the petition can always be filed seeking bail. At this stage, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed. 18.10.2023 smv 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
