PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to take necessary action against the sixth respondent as violating the currently culture, life style and ritual practices of the petitioner's Community of Kurumans Tribal People Kuladeivam Temple, viz., Sri Someshwari Amman Temple situated in Kurumbanoor Village, Kolathur way, Mettur Taluk, Salem District, on the basis of the representations submitted by the petitioner on 02.08.2024 and 23.08.2024 and thereby, forbear the sixth respondent from preventing the public to have access peaceful worship through the above said temple. This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to take necessary action against the sixth respondent for violating the culture, life style and ritual practices of the
petitioner's Community of Kurumans Tribal people's Kuladeivam Temple, viz., Sri Someshwari Amman Temple situated in Alamarathupatti Village, Kurumbanur, Mettur Taluk, Salem District, on the basis of the representations submitted by the petitioner on 02.08.2024 and 23.08.2024 and forbear the sixth respondent from preventing the public to have access peaceful worship through the said temple.

The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner made a representation before the respondents 1 to 5 on 23.08.2024 to take action against the sixth respondent for violating the current culture, life style and ritual practices of the petitioner's Community of Kurumans Tribal people's Kuladeivam Temple, viz., Sri Someshwari Amman Temple situated in Alamarathupatti Village, Kurumbanur, Mettur Taluk, Salem District, however, the same has not been considered so far. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if the respondents 1 to 5 are directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 23.08.2024 on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the fifth respondent have no serious objection for such an order being passed by this Court.
5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondents 1 to 5 to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 23.08.2024 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
