2. In view of the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, notice to the respondent is dispensed with.
3. The major grievance of the petitioner is that the HMOP.No.82 of 2022 has been initiated by the petitioner/husband under Section 13(1)(ia) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, seeking dissolution of marriage and though the trial has already commenced, till date, the said HMOP has not been disposed of and the same is kept pending for the past three years.
4. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and I have also perused the materials placed on record.
5. Considering that the HMOP is pending for over three years, this Court directs the Subordinate Court, Alandur to expedite completion of trial which has already commenced and dispose of HMOP.No.82 of 2022 finally, on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 31.01.2026, after hearing the parties.
