Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to remove the encroachment from the Government poramboke land and common pathway in Survey No.112 situated at Eripatti Village, Pollachi Taluk, Coimbatore District which encroached by the 3rd respondent by considering the petitioner's representation dated 2.7.2022 preferred before the 1st and 2nd respondents in

accordance with law.

ORDER

(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking direction on respondents 1 and 2 to remove the encroachment made by the third respondent in the Government poramboke land and common pathway in Survey No.112 situated at Eripatti Village, Pollachi Taluk, Coimbatore District.

2. Today when the writ petition is taken up, Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 2, submitted that the second respondent Tahsildar, Pollachi Taluk, will conduct a survey of the land in question and, if any encroachment is found, action will be taken for removal of the encroachment in the manner known to law, after

issuing notice to all the concerned, including the third respondent. Learned State Government Pleader submitted that the entire exercise will be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. Recording the submission made by learned State Government Pleader, the writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
