Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the third respondent is directed to consider the application submitted by the petitioner seeking water connection to the petitioner's house and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
