O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by M.S. RAMESH, J.) The order passed in the writ petition was a direction to the second respondent herein to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.05.2024 within a stipulated time. The second respondent has filed a compliance affidavit stating that they had initiated action for removal of encroachments and also completed the same and had handed over the encroached portion of the land to the State Highways. Since the petitioner's representation has been acted upon, it would amount to compliance of the order passed by the writ Court. Though there is a delay on the part of the contemnor herein, we are of the view that such delay may not be wilful in nature. Accordingly, we do not find any reason to record the wilful disobedience of the order passed by the writ Court. Hence, this Contempt Petition stands closed.
