The petitioner herein is alleged to have attacked the defacto complainant, who was working as security in a company.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police opposed the grant of bail to the petitioner and submitted that the defacto complainant sustained grievous injuries, was admitted to the hospital on 24.07.2025 and got discharged on the next day. He further submitted that the defacto complainant is a migrant worker and the doctor has certified that the injuries are grievous in nature. He also submitted that the co-accused has been detained under Act 14.

3. Considering the nature of the offence and the seriousness of the injuries, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
