ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for quashing the FIR in Crime No. 1241 of 2017, on the file of the Inspector of Police, J-1, Saidapet Molasi Police Station, Chennai for the offences under Sections 341, 324 of IPC, dated 29.03.2017.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the 1st respondent, on instructions, submitted that there was some matrimonial dispute between the petitioners and the de-facto complainant. After mutual discussion between the parties, they had filed compromise memo before the Court below and the disputes had resolved among themselves and further action has been dropped in the Crime No.1241 of 2017 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, J-1 Saidapet Police Station, Chennai. Therefore, the prayer sought for by the petitioner herein has become infructuous and nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition.

3. Recording the above submissions made by the learned Government Advocate, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition, hence, the Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
