O R D E R
(through Video Conference) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction, to direct the first and second respondents to give Police protection to the petitioner's life and live based on the petitioner's complaint dated 19.10.2019.
2.Heard Mr.K.G.Senthil Kumar, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner and Mr.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.K.N.Nataraj, learned Counsel appearing for the fourth respondent.
3.Today when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions would submit that in respect of the dispute between the petitioner and the fourth respondent, the petitioner had lodged a complaint before the third respondent in the year 2018 itself. He would further submit that in respect of the same, the third respondent herein has received the complaint of the petitioner and assigned C.S.R.No.49 of 2018 and the same is kept pending without any disposal for the reason that the petitioner is not co-operating for enquiry.
4.With these grounds, both the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Counsel appearing for the fourth respondent submitted that it would be suffice to direct the third respondent to dispose the C.S.R.No.49 of 2018 registered by the third respondent herein within a time as stipulated by this Court.
5.In view of the above, the third respondent herein is directed to dispose the C.S.R.No.49 of 2018 which has been registered on the basis of the complaint dated 19.10.2019 given by the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after affording opportunity to the petitioner as well as the fourth respondent. Both the petitioner and the fourth respondent are directed to co-operate for the completion of the enquiry.
6.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is ordered.
