ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records relating to FIR No.4/2024 on the file of the first respondent/ Sub Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Nagapattinam, and to quash the same .

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent-Police and perused the materials available on record.

3. Based on the complaint given by the de-facto complainant, the respondent-Police registered a case in Crime No. 4 of 2024 as against the accused persons, for the offences under Sections 336(ii), 338, 336(iii) and 316(4) and 318 (4) of BNS. The petitioner is arrayed as A4. 2/4

4. The petitioner is an Auditor and he has just verified the bills submitted to him. The main grievance of the defacto complainant is with regard to the quality of work done by A1 and A2. Under such circumstances, no final report can be filed as against this petitioner. Investigation has to be continued by the first respondent-Police only as against the other accused. 5.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
