The petitioner's application seeking for certified copies of the final report along with enclosures has been returned, on the ground that the case is yet to be taken on file.
2. It is seen that in connection with the same crime number, there was an earlier direction of this Court dated 28.08.2019 passed in Contempt Petition No.1076 of 2019, directing the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur to take cognizance of the final report filed by the respondent police in Crime No.542 of 2015. Though almost 2 months have lapsed from the order passed by this Court, it is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the cognizance is yet to be taken. As such, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur to take cognizance of the final report in Crime No.542 of 2015, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner shall thereafter be entitled for copies of the FIR along with permissible enclosures.

3. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
