ORDER

This case is complaining the offences under Sections 143 and 188 of Indian Penal Code, 1860. Upon perusing the allegations, it is mentioned that all the accused tried in the case demonstrated against the amendments made to the Provisions of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 on 02.07.2018. It is seen that the case is pending for the past seven years. Many of the accused are not even served with summons.

2. The nature of allegations is in exercise of the democratic right to protest and does not even make out any offence. Under the said circumstances, the proceedings in S.T.C.No.600435 of 2018 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Ariyalur Taluk, Ariyalur stands quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer Case stands allowed.

19.08.2025 rap electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary. Further, the Court below is directed to dispatch the copy of this order to all concerned.
