O R D E R

By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to issue patta and chitta in his favour in respect of the land comprised in Survey Nos.20/1B and 20/2B situated at Seppakkam Village, Virudhachalam Taluk,

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he purchased the above mentioned property under a registered Sale Deed dated 20.01.2004 and patta for the same has not been issued in his favour. Therefore, the petitioner submitted various representations to the respondents seeking transfer of patta and the same has not been considered by the respondents till date. The last of the representation was submitted by the petitioner on 18.07.2024 before the 2nd respondent and the same has not been considered. Therefore, 2/5

the petitioner is before this Court.

Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondents would submit that the competent authority for considering the request of the petitioner for issue of patta is the 1st respondent and the representation is submitted by the petitioner will be considered by the 1st respondent on its own merits and in accordance with law, within the time fixed by this Court.

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to forward the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 18.07.2024 to 1st respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The 1st respondent shall consider the same and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a further period of six weeks from the date of receipt such representation from the 2nd respondent.

6. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No 3/5

costs.
