ORDER

The final report is filed complaining the offences under Sections 341 and 143 of Indian Penal Code, 1860. Upon perusal of the allegations, it can be seen that the accused persons had protested against the hike in petrol and diesel prices. The stage of the case is that, the summons itself is not served on Page No.1 of 3

the accused and the matter is pending from the year 2018.

2. As such, the allegations is in the form of democratic right to protest and does not even make out an offence. Under these circumstances, no useful purpose will be served by keeping the case pending and accordingly the S.T.C.No.600856 of 2018 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Ariyalur Taluk, Ariyalur stands quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer Case stands allowed.

19.08.2025 rap electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary. Further, the Court below is directed to dispatch the copy of this order to all concerned.
