ORDER
This final report is filed complaining the offences under Sections 143 and 188 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
2. Upon perusing the allegations, it is seen that the accused conducted a road roko demonstration on 29.01.2018 aggrieved by the hike in bus ticket fares by the Government. Therefore, upon perusal of the allegations, the offence is made out and it is in the nature of a democratic protest. Page No.1 of 3
3. Further, the case is pending for the service stage from the year 2018 and any further conduct of the trial will also impinge upon the right to speedy trial of the accused under Article 21 of the Constitution of India. Accordingly, the case in STC.No.600345 of 2018 and on the file of Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Ariyalur Taluk, Ariyalur stands quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer Case stands allowed.
19.08.2025 rap electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary. Further, the Court below is directed to dispatch the copy of this order to all concerned.
