ORDER
The final report is filed complaining the offences under Section 4 (i) (a) and 4(1-A) (ii) of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, 1937 (in short 'the Act') and thereafter altered to 4 (i)(a) of the Act.
2. As per the prosecution, upon checking, the informant namely the Head Constable attached to the Police Station found that three bottles of 180 ml and one bottle of 90 ml was kept in a Bush by the accused. However, the Page No.1 of 3
same is within the consumable limit of the individual and accordingly no offence whatsoever is made out and accordingly the case in STC.No.319 of 2014 and on the file of District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Ranipet Taluk, Ranipet stands quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer Case stands allowed.
19.08.2025 rap electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary. Further, the Court below is directed to dispatch the copy of this order to all concerned.
