Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to give adequate police protection to the petitioners and the 3rd and 4th respondents while conducting the survey and demarcation of the lands owned by the petitioners admeasuring an extent of 3.12 acres comprised in S.No.146/2 and 4.24 acres comprised in S.No.144/2 of Vilampatti village, Vazhappadi Taluk, Salem District.

The petitioner herein has paid necessary fee for surveying the land by the surveyor but could not be accomplice the requirement, since the private respondent has objected measuring the land when the surveyor went to the field on 02.09.2023. Hence, the present petition seeking Police Protection for the Surveyor when he visit the land for measurement.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that if any request from surveyor seeking protection while measuring the land is made, the same will be considered and adequate protection will be provided based 2/4

on the circumstances and records.
