This matter is listed today under the caption 'for being mentioned' at the instance of the learned counsel for the petitioner.
2. It is brought to the notice of this Court that some typographical errors have been crept in the order dated 28.08.2025 at paragraph Nos.4, 5 & 7. Accordingly, the following corrections shall be incorporated in the order, "4. The petitioner is engaged in the business of motor vehicle financing. While so, the petitioner entered into a Hire Purchase Agreement with the 3rd respondent for the vehicle bearing Regn.No.TN-09-BC-9542 with the 4th respondent as guarantor. The petitioner states that on random check by the petitioner on the mparivahan App, the petitioner was shocked to notice that the name of owner of the subject vehicle was changed and the financier's name was not reflected. Since the said alteration had taken place without the consent of the petitioner, the petitioner submitted a representation to the 1st respondent on 28.06.2025, intimating the illegal act committed by the 3rd respondent. Since no action was taken by the 1st respondent on the petitioner's representation, the petitioner filed the above writ petition for the aforesaid relief.
5. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent to consider and

dpq dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 28.06.2025, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

In view of the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 28.06.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereby, he would request that the said portion of the order may be corrected and copy may be issued accordingly.
3. In view of the above, Registry is directed to carry out the necessary corrections in the order and issue order copy afresh. 10.09.2025 dpq W.P.No.32692 of 2025

ORDER
(1)Mrs.C.Meera Arumugam, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. With the consent of both the learned counsels, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
(2)As no adverse orders are passed against the respondents 3 to 5, notice to the said respondents is dispensed with.
(3)The writ petition is filed for a mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to seize the motor vehicle bearing Regn.No.TN-09-BC-9542, from the 5th respondent
who is illegally possessing the said vehicle as per the representation of the petitioner dated 28.06.2025.

(7)In view of the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 07.02.2024, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
