(1) Learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] appearing for the 1st respondent police informed that pursuant to investigation in Crime No.1755/2017, which FIR is sought to be quashed in the present petition, the 1st respondent police have filed a Final Report before the learned X Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, arraying the petitioners herein as accused.

(2) This Final Report was filed on 23.12.2018. It has not been taken cognizance till today by the learned Magistrate. However, since the investigation has been completed, nothing further survives for adjudication in the present petition.
