For Petitioner : Mr.L.Ramkumar For Respondents : Mr.C.Jayaprakash Government Advocate Order Heard Mr.L.Ramkumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents. With consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for issuance of a mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to survey the land measuring 0.31 cents of land in survey No.280/3A and another land, measuring 0.15 cents in survey No.280/3B situated at Paithur North Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District (hereinafter referred to as the said property) and demarcate its four boundaries and consequently, to issue sub- division patta within a time frame as may fixed by this Honble court.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the absolute owner of the subject property (morefully described in para No.2 of this order); that the petitioner made applications through online dated 06.07.2019 and 12.09.2024 to the third respondent seeking for survey and demarcation of the property, however, as on date, no action has been taken by the third respondent in pursuance of such representations, which necessitated the petitioners to approach this Court by way of present Writ Petition seeking for aforesaid relief. It is further submitted that the petitioner also paid required fee towards survey of the property and therefore, seeks for appropriate direction.
4. Learned Government Advocate for respondents fairly submitted that the prayer sought for by the petitioner would be considered and appropriate steps would be taken by the respondent-Authorities within four weeks, if a direction is issued in that regard.
5. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel on either side coupled with the fact that the petitioner has paid necessary charges for 3/6
demarcating the property, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the on-line applications made by the petitioner dated 06.07.2019 and 12.09.2024 and take suitable steps for conducting a survey in the petitioner's property and demarcate the same by metes and bounds after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to say, in the event, any obstruction is being caused by any third parties, the Official Respondents are at liberty to seek the assistance of the Police Officials, in which case, the concerned Jurisdictional Police is directed to render all kinds of assistance, as required, by the Revenue Officials for demarcation of the subject property. No costs. List the case before this Court on 03.11.2025, ''For Reporting Compliance of this order''
