PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose petitioner representation dated 25.11.2017 and consequently issue direction to the 2nd and 3rd respondent to provide police protection to safeguard petitioners life and personal liberty.

This Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to dispose petitioner representation dated 25.11.2017 and consequently issue direction to the 2nd and 3rd respondent to provide police protection to safeguard petitioner's life and personal liberty.

2. This petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to provide police protection. Now, almost two years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh complaint, on fresh cause of action, if so advised.

With the above observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
