ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 3 rd respondent to file a final report in Crime No.50 of 2024 before the appropriate Court within a reasonable time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that based on his complaint that his wife Sasikala was missing, the FIR in Crime No.50 of 2024 came to be registered for "woman missing" on 19.01.2024. However, no final report has been filed.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that it is not a case of missing and it is a case of elopement. Earlier also, very same complaint was lodged based on which, FIR was registered and thereafter, his wife secured and handed over to the petitioner.

4. It is seen that it is a case of elopment. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.

5. The petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
